1998 gegründet, ist MovieArt der einzige Verkaufsladen in der Schweiz, der sich der graphischen Filmkunst widmet. Film hat auch nach über 100 Jahren nichts von seiner Faszination eingebüsst und ein Kinobesuch ist immer noch ein Ereignis. Filmkunst ist zeitlos, in allen Gesellschaftsschichten populär und wird auch die nächsten Jahrzehnte überdauern. MovieArt bietet eine der weltweit umfangreichsten Sammlung an Original Filmplakaten an, im Webshop oder in der Galerie mitten in Zürich.
Originalplakate der letzten 100 Jahre Filmschaffen sind Kunstwerke, die grösstenteils nur noch in sehr wenigen Exemplaren vorhanden sind. Einst als simples Werbeinstrument eingesetzt, sind sie heute begehrtes Sammlergut und werden an Auktionen in England und den USA zu hohen Summen gehandelt.
